Walking In Truth
II John 4

As the United States celebrates our nation’s freedom this weekend, what better time is there to ask ourselves: Is there really such a thing as absolute truth?
The Declaration of Independence opens with words that have echoed through history: We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are
endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.
Yes, America was built upon certain foundational truths that have guided and governed our nation… truths that came from God almighty Himself.
Which leads me to ask you today… how valuable is God’s truth to you? The great King Solomon, one of the wisest men who ever lived, once said, “Buy truth, and do not sell it;
buy wisdom, instruction, and understanding.” Solomon knew that truth was valuable… that it was priceless. So what about you?
Do you love God’s truth? Do you obey His truth? Do you stand for His truth? And… do you proclaim His truth?
More and more, our society is turning its back on anyone who believes in Jesus Christ and the claim that salvation is found only through Him. But for the sake of our beloved
nation and for the people we care about, you and I must defend the truth of who Jesus Christ is in our generation!
That’s why… as we celebrate our freedom as Americans this weekend… I hope you will recommit yourself to stand undaunted for the truth. God’s truth. And that through your
witness, many people will come to know the truth that leads to salvation!
Take a moment this weekend in the midst of your celebrations to thank God for the trust that leads to salvation!
II John 4 - I rejoiced greatly that I have found some of your children
walking in truth, as we received commandment from the Father.

Praise Team Practice

GREAT FELLOWSHIP AT THE CALDWELL'S
|
On June 27th, we moved our services from our normal time and place to 10:30 AM at the Caldwell’s pavilion behind their home. There were almost 60 people who came, praise the
Lord! A few first time visitors also attended. We had a great time there singing praises to Him, getting into the Word of God, and fellowshipping over food and with games. We
had to call in an ambulance only once. Zach Rudman fell and thought that he had broken his ankle, but he badly sprained it and damaged some ligaments, so please pray for his
recovery. A huge thank you to Pam and Doug for opening up their home and property. It was a beautiful day and I praise the Lord for blessing us with a great time there.
