Washington City Mission Outreach

As mentioned this last Sunday we are going to be reaching out to those in need this year for Christmas. Typically, we have gone to our shut-ins and widows for Christmas caroling. This year we have decided to instead go to the Washington City Mission in order to reach out to those in need, outside of our church. On December 18, we will be going to the mission to serve the 3:00 PM meal, sing some Christmas carols, as well as handout some much needed necessities. We need at least 12 people to volunteer for the serving of the meals, but many more are welcome. We will need servers, waiters/waitresses, dishwashers, a host/hostess, as well as prayer warriors. This meal that we will be serving, will have three stages:

     3:00 PM - Female and Child residents
     3:30 PM - Male residents
     4:00 PM - Open to public

We will be meeting at the Washington City Mission at 2:30 PM so we can be properly instructed. The address for this the mission is:

If you are interested in participating in this event, please let Pastor Ben know as soon as possible. Also Children are welcome to come, as long as they can help.
